The X-ray beam pathway

In the Fermiscan Test, the configuration of the beamline is illustrated below.

The X-ray beam from the undulator is narrowed through slits then filtered by the monochromator to reflect the appropriate wavelength. The beam is then focused onto the hair, and its diffraction pattern is captured on the detector.
